Once you’re in the alpine, you’ll get fabulous views of the valley, the village, Kinbasket Lake and surrounding mountain peaks. The top contains some interesting rock formations and a ridge walk.
Valemount
The calming rush of the creek, the huge cedar trees, the lookout overlooking Valemount, the lichen, mushrooms and other plant life, plus a suspension bridge!
Peaceful and lush with not much elevation.
Observe tiny marsh critters – very close to info centre. Kid-friendly.
Sandy trail surrounded by sensitive lichen; good views of Mica Mountain
Wide paved trail around the village. Wheelchair/stroller friendly.
Enchanting bluffs and waterfalls. Choice of several end points: lakes, big rock or peak.
A hotbed of ecological activity – a wildlife and bird watcher’s delight
Relatively short trail to marshy meadows with waterfall and lake.
Stay overnight in an alpine cabin. Views of Mt. Robson from the meadow.
Great views for a short hike; mostly flat along creek then a steep section to the lookout.
Follow the creek in and back- bridge is broken
